I was born 1965 in the industrial town of Halifax, West Yorkshire. My interest for photography developed in my early twenties when I started to travel around the world. In 1990 I moved to Stockholm, learned the Swedish language and started to study photography at the renowned photography school, Biskops Arnö.
Today I work as a freelance photographer specializing in different kinds of reportage and portraits. I like to take photos on site where the action is, catching the unexpected and capturing the light. I have worked for a range of magazines and publicationens in Sweden ranging from car and golf magazines to informational brochures for different businesses. Intresset för fotografi började när jag som 22-åring, med en gammal Nikkormat i bagaget, lämnade England och började resa runt i världen. Kom till Sverige 1990, studerade svenska och fortsatte mina fotostudier vid Nordens Fotoskola, Biskops Arnö. Arbetar sedan dess som frilansfotograf i Stockholm. Min specialisering är reportage och porträtt i miljö. År 2004 blev jag medlem i den svenska bildbyrån Tiofoto, idag en del av Nordic Photo.
Jag jobbar gärna internationellt och med min bror Andy Marshall får jag tillfälle att kombinera mitt reseintresse genom våra egna resereportage inom golf och lifestyle. Läs mera om våra resor på bogey.se
